That chart also notes that excluded resources generally mirror SSI's exclusion rules, and it specifically calls out a home as an SSI-excluded resource. That general statement, though, doesn't override the separate LTSS home-equity rule, and it doesn't substitute for actually verifying the applicant's real ownership interest in the property — those are still distinct questions that need their own answers.
