Acceptance of these terms

By visiting, reading, searching, downloading from, or submitting information to fundingltcmarketplace.com (“this site”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to every page, state guide, cost-of-care table, case study, chat answer, quote request, downloadable guide, and email this site produces.

What this site is — and what it is not

Funding LTC Marketplace is operated by Central States Insurance Services, Inc., founded and led by George A. Mellendorf. It helps families compare long-term care funding and coverage options and, when they ask, connects them with licensed help.

This site is educational and advisory in nature. It is not a binding offer of insurance, not an application, not a quote, not a binder, and not a promise of coverage, premium, benefit, or tax treatment. Coverage availability, rates, riders, and eligibility are determined solely by the issuing carrier through its own underwriting. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, financial, or medical advice, and it does not create a fiduciary, attorney-client, or advisory relationship. Medicaid rules, Veterans benefits, state partnership programs, tax treatment, and care costs vary by state and change over time, and they turn on facts specific to your household.

Illustrations, examples, case studies, calculators, and state pages are educational models, not predictions of your outcome. Before you act, confirm details with the carrier, the administering agency, and licensed professionals in your state. Insurance is offered only through appropriately licensed individuals and entities in states where licensed.

How content is researched and sourced

We build this site from primary and authoritative sources: Medicare, Medicaid/CMS, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the IRS and HHS; the NAIC Shopper's Guide to Long-Term Care Insurance and state insurance departments and Medicaid agencies; published cost-of-care surveys; and carrier product materials.

Where a page states a rule, limit, threshold, benefit amount, dollar figure, or statistic drawn from a source, that source is named and hyperlinked so you can open it and verify the figure yourself, and the same sourcing appears in our downloadable guides. Outbound links open in a new tab. Figures reflect the most recent data available when a page was published or last reviewed, and source organizations revise their numbers on their own schedules. Where a source and this site disagree, the source governs. If you think a figure is wrong or out of date, email info@fundingltcmarketplace.com and we will check it and correct the page.

Some materials offered here are third-party publications reproduced unchanged — most notably the NAIC Shopper's Guide. Those remain the property of their publishers, and we claim no authorship of them.

Artificial intelligence disclosure

We want to be direct about this: much of the content on this website was sourced, researched, drafted, and refined with the assistance of Perplexity AI, an AI research and answer engine, with human editorial review before publication. The same is true of our downloadable guides, state pages, and the answers our Ask a Question tool returns.

That means two things for you. First, the underlying facts belong to the organizations we cite, not to the AI, and those organizations are the authority for any number. When you ask us to follow up, we may contact you by email or phone about long-term care funding and coverage options, and Central States Insurance Services, Inc. may receive commissions or marketing compensation if you ultimately purchase coverage through a licensed agent. Email and your right to opt out

We use your email address and phone number only for the purpose you gave them — sending the guide you asked for, returning your quote request, or answering your question — and we do not sell your information.

You can opt out of all email at any time. Email info@fundingltcmarketplace.com with “opt out” in the subject line, or call (239) 218-7309, and we will remove your address and stop all email to it. Use the same route to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Opting out costs you nothing here: every page, state guide, cost table, and download stays free to read and use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site, the law, or our tools change. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

If part of this is unenforceable

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in full effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
