# Oklahoma Medicaid Asset Limits

Last updated 2026-10-20

Oklahoma keeps its long-term-care financial standards in OKDHS Appendix C-1, which is the state's go-to reference for aged, blind, disabled, and long-term-care eligibility figures. For someone approved for nursing-facility or ICF/IID care, the table sets a $2,982 monthly income standard — described as 300% of the Federal Benefit Rate — alongside a $2,000 resource ceiling for an individual and $3,000 when a spouse is also counted.

Those headline numbers are only the starting point, not the whole test. Oklahoma's nursing-facility rule requires a monthly review of income, resources, and expenses, and how a home, jointly held property, a spouse's assets, or another exempt resource gets treated can diverge sharply from a simple bank-balance snapshot. Families are better served holding onto account statements, title records, valuations, and proof of current spending than relying on a rough mental tally.
