# Arkansas Medicaid Asset Limits

DHS's 2026 Quick Reference Chart sets the resource limits at $2,000 for a single person and $3,000 for a couple across the Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, ARChoices, and DDS Waiver categories. The same chart lists the monthly income limit at $2,982, and it makes a point of saying that applicants are evaluated as individuals for income purposes — a detail that matters for married applicants.

That chart also notes that excluded resources generally mirror SSI's exclusion rules, and it specifically calls out a home as an SSI-excluded resource. That general statement, though, doesn't override the separate LTSS home-equity rule, and it doesn't substitute for actually verifying the applicant's real ownership interest in the property — those are still distinct questions that need their own answers.
